GREATS Youth Services

GREATS Youth Services (GYS) provides a range of activities and programs for youth, aged between 10 and 20 years of age. 

With children and youth at the centre of what we do, our attention is always focussed on maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for young people to thrive and to provide plenty of opportunities to participate in a variety of programs and activities such as:

• Cultural activities with Traditional Owners and elders
• Bush trips
• Sport
• Dance, Music and Arts
• Cooking and Health

We aim to support young people in fostering relationships with their peers, encourage school attendance and promote positive wellbeing.

GREATS Youth Services is staffed by a manager and 7 youth workers (male and female) from various language groups. 

The Youth Centre is open as follows

Monday to Friday               12noon and 8.30pm

Every second Saturday     3.00pm and 8.00pm

We work in collaboration with multiple community agencies and would like to acknowledge our close partnerships with West Arnhem Regional Council’s Youth Sport & Recreation division, Maningrida Community Education Centre and Mala’la Community Wellness.
